Questions before you start.

Do I need a card for the trial?

No. Sign in from the app with Google or your email and you get 15 days of Pro. We only ask for payment if you decide to upgrade.

What happens when the trial ends?

Kapclip keeps working. You can still record and edit everything, and exports switch to 720p with a small watermark until you go Pro. Your projects are never locked.

Can I use Kapclip offline?

Yes. Kapclip checks your plan when you're online and keeps working offline for up to 14 days between checks.

How do updates work?

New versions download quietly in the background. When one is ready, you'll see a "Restart to update" button. Nothing changes in the middle of a recording.

Can I move my license to a new computer?

Pro works on up to 3 computers. Remove an old one from your account page at any time to free up a spot.

Is there a Mac version?

Yes. Kapclip runs on macOS 13 or later on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. The Mac version is labelled Preview while we finish Apple's notarization.
